Our priority.
At Gpi Schwarte, safety is an inseparable part of the way we work every day. In our own production facility, where we design and manufacture high-quality stainless steel process and storage tanks for the dairy, food and pharmaceutical industries, we safeguard the safety of our employees, partners and the end quality of our products through structural measures and a strong safety culture.
Certified processes
Our factory operates according to the highest safety and quality standards. We follow an approach fully focused on prevention, control, and continuous improvement, ensuring that both employees and products are always developed in a safe and reliable environment.
Working safely
Our people are our strength. Project managers, welders, fitters, and quality staff have the right experience and certifications to carry out their work safely and carefully. Internal training, practical toolbox meetings, and workplace inspections contribute to safety awareness.
We believe that safety starts with attitude and behavior. Every employee is actively involved in identifying and improving safety aspects. We address each other, share knowledge, and work together on a culture where safety is second nature. In this way, we build sustainable quality in an environment where people can work and grow safely.
GMP
Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) forms the foundation of pharmaceutical production processes. At Gpi, we design and build tanks that meet GMP requirements — from material selection to final delivery. This includes full traceability of materials used, validated cleaning processes (CIP/SIP), and comprehensive documentation covering design, testing, and commissioning (such as DQ, IQ, OQ, and PQ). Good Documentation Practice (GDP) is also an essential part of this. In this way, we ensure compliance and installations that are ready for any audit.
GMP and GDP contribute to safety for both end users as well as operators and maintenance staff. Thoughtful designs prevent exposure to hazardous substances and allow safe access for inspection and cleaning. Clear documentation and validated procedures minimize the risk of errors and incidents. This creates a controlled working environment where safety and quality go hand in hand.
Safety throughout every phase
Even after production our work does not stop. When transporting, lifting and installing stainless steel tanks and pressure vessels at customer sites we apply the highest safety standards. Whether for a manufacturer in the Netherlands or abroad we always take local laws and regulations into account.
Our approach already starts in the design phase where transport and lifting features are integrated into the design. Each subsequent move from factory to final location is carried out according to a carefully prepared plan.
PPE
Every employee works according to established safety procedures and uses the proper personal protective equipment. From protective clothing to hearing protection, everything is aimed at minimizing risks. Through this discipline and consistency, we are able to perform safely and efficiently as a team.
