On October 1st, Gpi Schwarte officially began production in Olsztyn, marking the start of an exciting new chapter. To celebrate this important milestone, we organized the First Weld Party, symbolizing the launch of production and the formal opening of our new company.
Employees and their families were invited to join this special occasion. Around fifty participants gathered in the Grinding Hall, which was beautifully decorated for the event.
The celebration began with speeches by our CEO Steven Sijperda, Managing Director Gpi Schwarte Danuta Skrajny, and the Mayor of Olsztyn Robert Jan Szewczyk, who joined us to celebrate this important moment for Gpi Schwarte and the local community.
One of the highlights of the day was the symbolic welding of the Gpi Schwarte logo, performed together by Steven and Danuta. This act represented the unity between Gpi and Schwarte and the start of a shared identity. The moment concluded with the unveiling of our new logo on the production and office building, officially marking the opening of Gpi Schwarte.
After the formal part, everyone enjoyed a barbecue, entertainment, and plenty of time to connect with one another. It was a wonderful opportunity to come together and celebrate.
The First Weld Party was more than an opening event; it was a celebration of teamwork, shared values, and the beginning of a promising journey for Gpi Schwarte.
