For several years, Danuta Skrajny has held the position of Managing Director at Schwarte Processing, a company specializing in the design and production of stainless steel tanks. Her professional journey began in the purchasing department, where she gained in-depth knowledge of materials, production processes, and customer expectations across various industries – from food and beverage to chemical and pharmaceutical. Over time, she took responsibility for implementing and developing the ERP system, which allowed her to understand the organization from the inside out, from the first customer inquiry to the final product handover.
Today, she is responsible for the company’s strategic direction, development, and daily operations. She places great importance on integrating technical, production, and sales teams, fostering shared responsibility and a strong quality culture. As she emphasizes, her leadership approach is based on transparency, and partnership, both within the company and in relationships with clients and suppliers.
At the beginning of 2026, Danuta will assume the role of Managing Director at Gpi Schwarte, continuing the process of transitioning responsibilities from Schwarte Processing and joining the international structure of Gpi Group.
People as a source of motivation
Danuta’s career is a story of consistency, curiosity, and courage to take on challenges. She emphasizes that her greatest satisfaction comes from seeing people around her grow and succeed. “What motivates me most is knowing that I can influence not only the company’s growth but also the development of our team. When I see people gaining confidence, expanding their skills, and taking ownership, I know our work truly matters.”
Every day brings new challenges and decisions. For her, it’s never routine but rather an opportunity to learn and reflect. She believes in open communication, shared goal setting, and a culture of trust. In her view, only in such an environment can true collaboration flourish, the kind that drives innovation and delivers meaningful results.

The past few years have brought significant changes for Danuta and her team. Production relocation, process reorganization, and continuous support for clients throughout the transition. “The most important thing was to maintain quality and client trust despite all the changes. We succeeded thanks to mutual support and a shared belief that together we can achieve more. This experience showed how strong our team is and how much we can accomplish when we move in the same direction,” she explains.
Joining Gpi Group was a natural step in her professional journey. Combining business, passion, and curiosity about the world
Although her professional life revolves around people and processes, Danuta finds great value in life outside the office as well. She embraces the slow-life philosophy, has a passion for herbal medicine and natural remedies, and loves backpacking trips to less obvious destinations. “Ever since our university days, my husband and I have loved discovering new places. Back then, we planned our trips using maps in libraries. Those travels taught us humility and reminded us that it’s always worth looking for new paths,” she recalls.
She graduated in Business Management, but her career path also includes sales roles in technical and production companies. “I’ve always had a passion for technology. If something didn’t work, I’d take it apart and fix it myself. That curiosity has stayed with me, and it still helps me a lot in my work,” she adds with a smile.
A future full of potential
In the coming years, Danuta Skrajny aims to focus on the continued growth of Gpi Schwarte within Gpi Group. Towards a modern, integrated organization that combines technology, quality, and strong customer relationships.
